BLECHNUM PENNAMARINA

A dainty creeping fern with long rhizomes, forming a ground cover mat. Slender dark green fronds grow between 5 – 15 cm high depending on conditions. The more shaded, the longer the fronds will grow. Forms a very thick thatch of foliage once established. Prefers a semi-shaded site. Found in coastal areas of New Zealand. Hardy to -5 C.
