A beautiful small shrubby tree growing to 2.5m.  Leaves are pinnate with fine lacy dark green small leaflets. Overall the foliage gives a soft appearance. The large spring flowers are tubular, golden yellow in colour. A New Zealand nativewhich is evergreen, and frost  hardy to -5°C.
